Ohio has launched the High School Tech Internship program, a transformative initiative connecting Ohio employers with high school interns for tech-related roles. The program offers reimbursement incentives for employers and fosters strong business-education partnerships. Four County Career Center’s I.T. Academy - Computer Networking & Cybersecurity students Caden Stover (Napoleon) & Joseph Wymer (Liberty Center) were part of this Internship opportunity at Sauder Woodworking Company in Archbold.
The program’s core aim is twofold: to provide businesses with tech talent and offer students valuable work experience. Caden & Joseph were engaged in tasks resembling entry-level tech positions, covering areas such as software development, data management, and cybersecurity.
The High School Tech Internship along with Four County Career Center, embodies northwest Ohio’s commitment to innovation, economic growth, and education.
