2023 Senior Recognition Day Ceremony

Three hundred eighty-eight seniors were awarded certificates along with other student achievements and Career Passports marking the end of their career and technical training during Four County Career Center’s 54th Recognition Day Ceremony with over 2,000 parents and guests in attendance and viewing the livestream.

Career and Technical Education Director, Rick Bachman was Presiding Chairman of the ceremonies.  The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Kinsley Martin (North Central) Law Enforcement & Security Tactics, accompanied by military personnel and seniors enlisted in the armed services.  Superintendent, Jeffrey Slattery introduced Board of Education members and congratulated the seniors on their accomplishments.  Elli Fleischman (Defiance) Veterinarian Assistant, Anna Frazer (Tinora) Health Careers, and Kaci Alspaugh (Bryan) Fire & Rescue, announced student achievements and activities.  Guest speakers for the Recognition Day Ceremony were senior students Riley Froelich (Fairview) Health Careers, Mattison Shively (Patrick Henry) Visual Art & Design, and Tracy Rose (Archbold) Guest Services & Skills.

Retirement Reception & Employee Service Awards

Four County Career Center held their annual Retirement Reception and Employee Service Awards honoring staff members for years of service to the school district.

Words of appreciation were given by Superintendent Jeffrey Slattery and plaques were presented to staff members who retired from the Career Center during the past school year.  Shown above is retiree Tony McCord, Career Technical and Attendance Supervisor (39 years) (LEFT) with Superintendent Slattery (RIGHT).  Retiree Tim Meister, former Superintendent (10-1/2 years) was absent from the photo.

Student Become ASE Entry-Level Certified

Student Become ASE Entry-Level Certified

Four County Career Center is pleased to announce that seven Automotive Technologies students have passed eight or more ASE tests to become ASE Entry-Level Certified.  The ASE Entry-Level Certification is the first step in building a career as an automotive service professional.  There are ten tests in total and the tests are intended for students completing a program of technical study in motor vehicle repair and seeking a credential indicating workforce readiness.  The ASE Certification is part of the lab and related training in the Automotive Technologies program at the Career Center with instructors Tracy Harding, Toby Kennerk and Bruce Magill.

Preschool Graduation

The seniors at Four County Career Center’s Early Childhood Education class recently held Preschool Graduation for children enrolled during the 2022-2023 school year.  The children performed favorite songs learned throughout the school year for parents and grandparents in attendance.
