Students in this program are introduced to Cisco Networking (CCNA), A+ IT Essentials, and network operating systems. Tech Prep students may earn up to 40 college credits while in high school.

Enrollment Requirements:

- 8 credits required for admission

- Algebra I (good math skills -- "B" average)

- Uniforms per specified program

- Overall GPA of 2.5 or higher

CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
 

Articulation Agreements/Tech Prep/Dual Enrollment Opportunities:

- Articulation agreements are in place with local colleges
- Curriculum has a Tech Prep career pathway
- Dual enrollment offered to qualified students
- College credit at Northwest State Community College for all Cisco courses
 

Further Education:
- Two-year or four-year technical degree in various fields of interest
