All Firefighter I and II classes including the Transition courses will incorporate the 16-hour Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC driving course) as required by the State of Ohio for certification at Firefighter I and II levels.
This 84 hour program will provide an optional level of training in fire behavior and firefighting, as well as understanding alarm systems, sprinkler systems and inspection. Upon completing the course and successfully passing the state certification exam, the student will meet the requirements of a career firefighter.
