Students Place at Skills USA State Competition

Two students from Four County Career Center received Gold Medals in the 2021 Skills USA State Championships held virtually for placing first in the State of Ohio in their skill competition.  These students have qualified to compete at the 2021 Skills USA National Championships to be held virtually in June. Students who received Gold Medals are (LEFT TO RIGHT)  Tyler James (Bryan) Plumbing; and Ryan Yeager (Defiance) Automotive Service Tech.  

Six students from Four County Career Center received Bronze Medals in the 2021 Skills USA State Championships held virtually for placing third in the State of Ohio in their skill competition.  Students who received Bronze Medals are (LEFT TO RIGHT)  Olivia Philpot (Napoleon) Cosmetology; Harley Schwarz (Evergreen) Architectural Drafting; Breanna Schaub (Evergreen) Team Works; Shawn McCullough (Delta) Team Works; Laila Perez (Archbold) Team Works; and Jasper Purcell (Napoleon) Team Works. 

The Skills Ohio Championships consists of over 100 career, technical and leadership contests.  Participants are challenged to complete a project in their area of career and technical training within a specified time period while being scored by a panel of judges.
