Electrical Community Service Project

Four County Career Center Electrical students had the opportunity to use their skills to give back to the local community as they installed new LED lighting at the Hope Chest in Defiance.  Hope Chest is a non-profit organization that raises money for the Olive Branch Church of God by selling various donated items to the community.  New lighting for their facility will enhance the shopping experience for local shoppers.  In addition to the students donating their time to complete this project, McNaughton Mckay donated the LED lighting and Black Swamp Equipment donated the use of the scaffolding for the day.  Carol Speiser, Owner of Hope Chest and Electrical instructor Scott Williams coordinated the project.  Shown above (FRONT - LEFT TO RIGHT) Carol Speiser (Owner); Winston Nichols (Montpelier); Luke Hurdy (Napoleon); Delvin Roddy (Patrick Henry); Olivia Shull (Hicksville); Evan Taylor (Tinora); Seth Hathaway (Patrick Henry); (BACK - LEFT TO RIGHT) Scott Williams (Electrical Instructor); Kelby Supp (Black Swamp Equipment); Eli Borstelman (Liberty Center); Lillyann Lane (Defiance); Elijah Babel (Holgate); Hayden Hall (Tinora); Brennan Ort (Tinora); Dalton Wolfrum (Tinora); Xavier McCord (Holgate); Phil Smithers (Delta); Wesley Joice (Fairview); Ian Hickman (Edon); Jacob McVay (Bryan); and Matt Dye (Carpentry Instructor).
