All Firefighter I and II classes including the Transition courses will incorporate the 16-hour Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC driving course) as required by the State of Ohio for certification at Firefighter I and II levels.
This 216-hour course combines the education requirements of Firefighter I and II. Upon completing the course and successfully passing the state certification exam, the student will meet the requirements to become a career firefighter.
