All Firefighter I and II classes, including the Transition courses, will incorporate the 16-hour Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC driving course) as required by the State of Ohio for certification at Firefighter I and II levels.
This course bridges the Volunteer Firefighter Basic course with Firefighter Level I. The course covers more in-depth knowledge of the subject matter from the Volunteer Firefighter Basic course and offers additional skills.
