This program teaches students how to handle the technical side of making a product.
 Engineering technicians solve technical problems in a variety of engineering fields, such as preparing drawings and helping to produce and inspect products. This class meets at the Northwest State Community College campus to take advantage of state-of-the-art labs.

Enrollment Requirements:

- 8 credits required for admission

- Uniforms per specified program
 

Articulation Agreements/Tech Prep/Dual Enrollment Opportunities:

- Articulation agreements are in place with local colleges
- Curriculum has a Tech Prep career pathway
- Dual enrollment offered to qualified students
- College credit at Northwest State Community College for all courses
 

Further Education:
- Two-year technical degree in electrical/electronic engineering technology,
   systems/industrial technology, mechanical engineering technology, or plastics
   manufacturing engineering technology
- Four-year degree in engineering
